Detection Methodology
This page explains how results are generated and how to interpret them correctly in investigative workflows.
1) Source list
Each platform check is based on site-specific URL templates and response detection rules. Supported platforms are maintained in the public dataset used by this site.
2) Detection process
For each requested username, the system issues checks against platform endpoints and evaluates responses with status code and content-based rules. Results are streamed as checks complete.
3) Known limitations
Platform behavior changes frequently. Some sites return generic responses, require JavaScript rendering, or rate limit requests. This can produce false positives or false negatives.
4) Validation guidance
Treat findings as leads. Always open source links manually, inspect profile context, and corroborate with independent signals before making identity assertions.
